Audit events
The read-only record of who did what at your property.
The read-only record of what happened at your property: work orders created and finished, contractors dispatched and booked, approval decisions, settings changes, and people joining or losing access. It is where you go to find out who did something, and when.
At a glance
| Where | /operator/audit-events, from the side navigation or the dashboard's Audit events tile |
| Who | Owner, organization admin and property manager. Leasing staff, superintendents and residents cannot open it |
| What you can do | Filter by time window, actor, action and target, and read a work order's whole timeline around any event |
| What you cannot do yet | Change or delete anything, export the trail, or page back past the most recent 100 events |
What is recorded
| Group | Events |
|---|---|
| Work orders | Created, completed, closed, cancelled, and changes or cancellations to a booked dispatch |
| Contractors | Dispatched, and booked |
| Approvals | Every approve and reject decision |
| Property | Settings changes |
| People | Residents onboarded, superintendents onboarded, resident portal access revoked, and staff memberships started and ended |
Anything not in that list is not recorded here. The trail is scoped to your property, not the whole organization.
Read a row
- Pick a time window with the tiles at the top: Total events, Past 1 hour, Past 24 hours, Past 7 days. Arriving from the dashboard tile starts you on the last 24 hours.
- Narrow it with the filter bar — All actors, All actions, All targets — until the list is short enough to read.
- Select a row. The right panel opens as Work order timeline when the event belongs to a work order, showing that record's whole history with your event expanded in place and a context line of unit, category, priority and status. For an event with no work order behind it, the panel is Target history instead.
An approval decision is recorded as Dispatch approved or Dispatch rejected, with the cost estimate where the request carried one. The reason you typed when rejecting is not part of the entry.
Every detail view carries the same banner: Redacted view only. Raw sensitive content is never stored or displayed. Conversation content, lease, screening, banking, identity and protected-class detail are excluded from the trail by design — the audit answers who and when, not what was said.
Rules and limits
- The page shows the most recent 100 events for your property, on one page. If the list is full, older events exist but this page will not reach them.
- It refreshes about every 5 minutes; reload if you are watching for something that just happened.
- Nothing here can be edited or removed, by anyone.
- If your account is not attached to a property, the page reads as empty rather than showing an error.
If something looks wrong
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No audit events for this property yet | Nothing has been recorded, or your account has no property attached | Check with the owner if you expected entries |
| No audit events match these filters | Your window or filters exclude everything | Widen the window, or clear the actor, action and target filters |
| Audit records could not be loaded. | The trail failed to load | Use the Retry link on the panel |
| An action you expected is not listed | It may not be one of the recorded events above | Check the list of what is recorded; comments and reads are not audited |
Not in the product
There is no agent-trace page in the Property Manager Console. An earlier plan paired this log with a per-agent trace viewer showing what an assistant did step by step; that surface was removed before launch, so audit events are the only history the console exposes. If you find a link or a document pointing at one, it is out of date.
